Welcome to the Dark side. Using darker grains such as Chocolate Malt, Roast Barley and Beech Smoked Malt which emphasise a smoky chocolatey character. The addition of Fuggles Goldings and Challenger hops combine to provide the gentle bitterness to offset the creamy maltiness. On the nose, this dark beer offers bitter chocolate, figs, toffee and hints of fruit.On the palate, this resolves into beautiful, silky-smooth, coffee-and-chocolate flavours, followed by figs, dates and dried fruits, with a very appealing, lingering aftertaste of fruits and hop bitterness.

Cwtch is our very own untraditional Welsh Red Ale. Six malts, two US hops and weeks of Tiny Rebel love and attention go into making this unique beer. Citrus and tropical fruit dominate the taste that is backed up with caramel malts that balance the moderate bitterness.
Brewed with both Munich Malt and Colour 400 Crystal Malt to give a warm ruby red glow. Brewed down to a final gravity of 1008, making it a deceptively light beer. Once more a selection of British hops help compliment and lift the red malty ale into a fine strong beer
This beer has been brewed in honour of our Steam Room, which displays a 1900s Towcester Railway Station sign on loan from Towcester Museum and which is directly above the rising steam from our brewhouse kettle. It is a pale ale brewed with the addition of Citra and a blend of American hops creating great citrus aromas
Featuring Rauchmaltz, a Bavarian specialty smoked malt, blended with crystal malt, it's distinctive flavour is uniquely smoky with hints of caramel. Isolation is carefully hopped to give a gentle bitterness with floral and earthy flavours, blending perfectly with the smoky malt
